These Terms govern your use of APES and its related websites, online features, community spaces, and support services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required by Meta and the law where you live. If you are not legally able to accept these Terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.
Your license to play
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use APES for non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform where you access it. We and our licensors retain all rights in APES, including its software, artwork, audio, characters, names, and other content.
Fair play and acceptable use
You may not:
- cheat, exploit bugs, interfere with matchmaking or servers, or use unauthorized software to alter gameplay;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or deliberately disrupt other players;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- copy, sell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or commercial activity without our written permission.
Mods and third-party software
Unauthorized modifications, injected code, automation, cheats, or other tools that change APES or provide an unfair advantage are prohibited. We may restrict or end access when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
Online services and changes
Features, content, availability, and technical requirements may change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services when needed for security, maintenance, development, legal compliance, or operational reasons. We do not promise that every feature will always remain available.
Player conduct and enforcement
We may investigate reports and take proportionate action, including warnings, feature restrictions, suspensions, or permanent loss of access. Serious or repeated violations may be acted on immediately. Platform providers may apply their own rules and enforcement separately.
Third-party services
APES may use or link to services operated by Meta, Epic Games, Microsoft PlayFab, Cloudflare, and other providers. Their terms and policies apply to their services, and we are not responsible for services we do not control.
Disclaimers and liability
The Services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Services.
Disputes
If a concern arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms do not limit any consumer protections or legal rights that apply to you where you live. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court or process with lawful authority over the dispute.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when APES, our operations, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continuing to use the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
